A perfect place to getaway - breakfast was amazing and being Gluten free they were more than happy to change things to help. You only need to let them know and they will do !

Just beautiful food and service every time we visit. Not just my own food, but every meal I ever try of any of our party has been beautiful. Can't recommend enough.

The staff are incredibly attentive and made you feel not only welcome but also special. The accommodation in the Hay Loft was perfect with lovely views of the close (very!) river. Very well decorated and fitted out for the modern discerning standards expected by seasoned travellers. Very homely.

The food is top notch, with more than generous servings. I’d recommend the Mutton! All in all, very impressed and will definitely be returning/recommending.

Fantastic food. Dinner was great. Smoked belly pork was astounding. Mutton was delicious. Blue cheese ice cream a bit out of the ordinary but amazing.

It is great to see somewhere so committed to using local produce, but most importantly making it so good to eat - we could happily have ordered every option on the menu!

The menu was inventive without being outré and each course was a delight with well thought out and interesting flavour combinations making beautifully balanced dishes.
