Reopen from 4th July 2020

We are glad to announce we reopened on the 4th of July.  Our team are working hard to ensure the restaurant and accommodation remain fully Covid secure, and we ask all guests to rearrange any bookings if you show symptoms or meet anyone with symptoms.

We are operating with additional cleaning procedures, limited capacity and other precautions such as sanitiser stations, for the safety and wellbeing of our teams and guests.

The Riverside at Aymestrey - winner of Visit England 'Best Tourism Pub 2018' -  is situated deep in the heart of Herefordshire countryside just on the southern edge of the Mortimer Forest, yet still close to Ludlow and Hereford.

Authentic and atmospheric, the 16th century black and white building is surrounded by the natural beauty of the River Lugg valley and is run by Andy Link.

“I took over The Riverside as Chef Patron in May 2016, having been Head Chef here for the past 10 years. My passion for my kitchen garden, sourcing local produce and menu innovation is tremendous. My team and I look forward to welcoming you to The Riverside in the near future.”
